Can bermudagrass be established from seed?

• Common bermudagrass can be seeded as well as several improved varieties including Princess 77, Blackjack. LaPrima, Riveria and Yukon.
• The more fine-textured cultivars including the "Tif" series are sterile hybrids and must be established from sprigs or sod.
